‘My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Cara as our doula for the birth of our son. She was pivotal in us having the birth experience we wanted. She advocated for us and reaffirmed our birthing wishes to medical staff throughout, also Cara provided so much knowledge and books on a variety of subjects from inductions, breast feeding etc - this was much appreciated as I am someone that likes to feel prepared. Cara was also unwavering in her support for my husband too, providing support to him and making sure he was ok throughout. They tag teamed giving me acupressure pain relief and holding the gas and air whilst I was in the birthing pool. My husband and I cannot thank Cara enough for her support and her kind heart was unbeatable. If we are fortunate enough to have another baby, cara would absolutely be our go too person!’
